CEC offers to abolish practice of passport stamping on polling day – paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - Central Electoral Commission of Armenia (CEC) has suggested the requirement for passport stamping on the polling day be removed from the RA Electoral Code, Hayots Ashkhar daily reports.

The suggestion on abolishment of the practice f passport stamping was conveyed in CEC report on May 6 parliamentary elections submitted to the National Assembly.

Passport stamping has been practiced to dismiss cases of repeated voting, the paper says.
