Armenian President meets Lithuania’s outgoing envoy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Lithuania’s outgoing ambassador Giedrius Apuokas.

President Sargsyan noted that significant intensification of the political dialogue was recorded in the past few years, with cooperation between the two countries having stepped into a new stage.

Armenian leader voiced hope that Lithuania’s next envoy will be able to further the progress observed.

President Sargsyan highly assessed the assistance Lithuania offered to Armenia on its way to European integration.

The two men further attached importance to development of Armenian- Lithuanian cooperation in the framework of Eastern Partnership (EaP) project.
