CSTO: Defense industry plant to be built in ArmeniaSeptember 4, 2012 - 15:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) members are in talks over construction of defense industry plants. The plants will be built in Russia as well as CSTO member states’ territory (Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia), with the Russian side processing documents for project implementation. Russia’s ministry of industry and trade is currently preparing a legislative base for cooperation between the enterprises and organizations of SCTO members. A document base for construction of new defense plants will be ready in near future, with relevant propositions to be made soon, Izvestia said.
