Two Armenian wrestlers reach Junior World Championship 1/8 finals

PanARMENIAN.Net - Greco-Roman wrestler Gevorg Gharibyan (55 kg) beat Russia’s Arut Sarkissyan 6:1 in Thailand-hosted Junior World Championship 1/16 finals.

In 1/8 finals the Armenian wrestler will face off against Moldova’s Victor Ciobanu.

Armenia’s Varos Petrosyan (84 kg) scored a 9:0 victory vs India’s Rahul Rahul to face off against the winner in Constantin Pirvan (Romania) - Chinnawet Kanchalee (Thailand) fight.

Armenia’s Hayk Arshakyan (66 kg) lost 4:9 to Russia’s Magomed Chukhalov.
