Azeri assassin Safarov’s days numbered, or it seems so![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri Defense Ministry issued a report on the release and extradition of Ramil Safarov, the murderer of an Armenian officer. Besides empty words of “the triumph of justice, truth and Azeri diplomacy” the statement notes that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan instructed to “exterminate Safarov.” The statement authors failed to consider that Armenia, more than ever, needs Safarov alive, as a symbol of the treacherous and outrageous policy of Azeri leadership. A conclusion comes to mind that Azeri authorities themselves decided to get rid of Safarov to further shift the blame on Armenia. With the same purpose, Azeri media released a so-called ASALA statement, containing threats to Azeri diplomats. The statement, however, is crammed with Azeri ideas of current situation to such an extent that no one would take it for other than Baku-fabricated “evidence.” To all appearance, blood will soon be shed in Azerbaijan, with Azeri leadership perpetrating the crime to accuse Armenia. Yet it’s hardly possible for the international community to be deceived by such a gross insinuation, with Azeri regime having proved itself inadequate in the eyes of the whole world.
