“Bourne” series star Joan Allen joins Stephen King's “Good Marriage”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Joan Allen has signed on to star in the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King's novella A Good Marriage.

The story focuses on a woman who finds that her husband of 25 years has been living a terrifying double life.

As Digital Spy said citing The Hollywood Reporter, King has written the screenplay for the film, which will be directed by Trumbo helmer Peter Askin.

This is one of several King movie adaptations that have been in the works in recent years.

A remake of Carrie starring Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore is due for release in early 2013.

Filming on A Good Marriage is tipped to begin in New York in October.
