  Armenia most stable country in region – expert September 18, 2012 - 15:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Anti-Armenian sentiment in the region sparked following the screening of Innocence of Muslims film is quite important for Armenia, Regional Studies Center (RSC) head, political expert Richard Giragosian said. “The arrest of 20 people during the rally held outside the U.S. embassy in Baku proves Al Qaeda’s presence in Azerbaijan,” the expert told a news conference in Yerevan. “The weakness and instability of Armenia’s neighboring countries implies that Armenia is the most stable country in the region,” Mr. Giragosian said, stressing the need for democratic and economic development to maintain stability in the republic.
