Armenian bloggers to compete for Prometheus-2012 Internet award

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prometheus-2012 Internet award has announced a new nomination, with bloggers from Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and South Ossetia to vie for victory, head of the event’s organizing committee said.

“We came up with an initiative to create a new nomination ‘Best blog of the South Caucasus’. Hope, the number of the nominations for bloggers and internet-portals will grow in the future,” rukavkaz.ru quoted Razhap Musayev as saying.

Prometheus Internet Award is held for the second time. Last year, the Grand Prix "Best Blog of the Northern Caucasus" was awarded to the former director of RIA Dagestan, Nariman Gadjiev who now heads the Ministry of Information Policy and Mass Communications of the Republic of Dagestan. The Grand Prix "The Best Website of the Northern Caucasus" was given to the TV channel "Stavropol".
