  Raffi Hovannisian announces decision to run for president  September 20, 2012 - 13:16 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage opposition party leader Raffi Hovannisian announced decision to enter presidential race. “Armenia must finally have a president who’s devoted to his nation and people. I’ll do my best to bring Armenian people to the victory they’re entitled to,” he stressed. Hovhannisian’s presidential campaign will last through the next 100 days, with the Heritage leader to dedicate that time to becoming a persuasive civil candidate. “Regardless of the person to win the presidential race, the elected leader must have only 1 presidential term to provide Armenia’s transfer from the presidential to a parliamentary form of government,” he said.
