NKR President congratulates Armenia on independence anniversary![]() September 21, 2012 - 14:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory letter to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on the 21st anniversary of the Republic of Armenia's Independence. The letter runs as follows: "I cordially congratulate our nation on the Independence Day. The Armenian nation looked forward to that day for centuries. And now it is already 21 years since the independent Armenia has become a reality to ccupy its worthy place among other countries embarked on the path of democracy. Armenians around the world - in Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora celebrate September 21 as a day that unites us around a common idea. This is the noble idea of having a powerful and developed homeland. For this very idea the best sons of our people sacrificed their lives. For this very idea every day and every hour we must continue our struggle to implement it. We must struggle together, continuously enhancing and increasing our victories and success, our achievements and accomplishments. I congratulate all our compatriots once again and wish peace, welfare and prosperity for the glory of Mother Armenia and its bright future".
