Baku views Safarov as “used material” - axe-killer’s victim

PanARMENIAN.Net - Baku views the killer of Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan, Ramil Safarov as “used material”, Armenian Defense Ministry’s board secretary, Safarov’s victim said.

At news conference in Yerevan, Armenian officer Hayk Makuchyan, who escaped killing by Ramil Safarov during the NATO-sponsored language course in Budapest in 2004, denied all Azeri claims of Margaryan’s insulting the Azeri flag or Safarov himself. As he reminded, all the witnesses denied the claim in court.

As for the killed officer, Makuchyan said he remembers him as a kind person, ready to offer help to those in need.

In conclusion, Makuchyan advised vigilance to all those attending foreign events regardless of the presence of Azeris.
