To celebrate its achievement, Google has kickstarted a new five day app promotion, offering 25 cent downloads of apps from the Store’s biggest developers, which includes Gameloft, Electronic Arts, Rovio, runtastic and Full Fat. At the Google I/O developer event, the company announced that there were 600,000 games and apps available for Android devices. At the time, those titles had been downloaded more than 20 billion times.
