"Stoker" horror trailer features Nicole Kidman as psychopathic mom (video)

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Mommie Dearest" could learn something about bad parenting from Nicole Kidman, if the first trailer for Fox Searchlight's "Stoker" is any indication, TheWrap said.

Directed by Park Chan-Wook, the suspenseful horror film stars Nicole Kidman and Mia Wasikowsa.

In the trailer, India (Wasikowsa) struggles with more than the usual teenage angst: Her psychopathic mother (Kidman) actually hates her, her father just mysteriously died and her Uncle Charlie (and mom's new lover) may be his killer.

Adding to the weirdness, the friendless India becomes infatuated with her uncle (Matthew Goode). Will she be inspired to start killing, too? ("She's coming of age," creepy uncle Charlie tells mama Kidman.)

“Stoker” opens nationwide on March 1.
