Armenian Independence Day celebrated in Cleveland

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 21, Cleveland mayor's office, (state of Ohio) hosted an event celebrating 21st anniversary of Armenia’s independence, with Mayor Frank Jackson, high-ranking officials and Armenian community members present.

Mayor Jackson congratulated Armenians on the national holiday and stressed the importance of RA Declaration of Independence that underscores Armenia’s ability to restore independence in 1991 following the 1915 Genocide.

The mayor's office further hosted Armenian flag raising ceremony.
