Chess Masters Final 2012 second stage to kick off October 8

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian tied a game vs. Fabiano Caruana in round 5 of Grand Slam Masters Final.

Meanwhile, Viswanathan Anand-Magnus Carlsen and Francisco Vallejo Pons- Sergey Karjakin games ended in a draw.

Caruana currently leads the tournament with 11 points, Aronian comes 2nd with 7 points, Carlsen is 3rd with 6 points.

Aronian will face off against Karjakin in the next round, with Pons and Caruana to rival Anand and Carlsen respectively.

The tournament’s second stage will be held in Bilbao, from October 8-13. The sixth round is due October 8.
