Artsakh president seeks to develop cooperation with Switzerland

PanARMENIAN.Net - Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan met Oct 1 with a delegation of Switzerland-Armenia parliamentary friendship group headed by its co-chairmen Ueli Leuenberger and Dominique de Buman.

Development of Switzerland-Artsakh relations were in the focus of the meeting.

President Sahakyan highly assessed Switzerland’s balanced position on global and regional processes, emphasizing Artsakh's interest in the multilateral cooperation with Switzerland, highlighting the importance of establishing sustainable ties and working relations between the parliaments of the two countries.

The parties further dwelt on Artsakh’s domestic and foreign policy, stressing the need for peaceful settlement of Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict.

NKR foreign minister Karen Mirzoyan and other officials also attended the meeting, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
