RPA concerned Tsarukyan may make unexpected announcement – paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd daily, it’s several days the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) members have been in search of Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan, with all the attempts to find him, however, failing.

The move came particularly following disclosure of information about Tsarukyan’s past, according to the paper.

Even Armenian president tried to talk with the party head, with parliament speaker, Tsarukyan’s relative Hovik Abrahamyan instructed to find him. However, Tsarukyan didn’t agree to contact Abrahamyan, either. RPA is concerned that the party leader may shock the political arena with an unexpected statement after his long silence, the paper says.

Some sources suggest that Tsarukyan has resolved to meet President Sargsyan by the end of the week, the paper says.
