Fall military draft launches in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree Oct 5 to launch 2012 fall military draft and demobilization.

According to the decree, it was resolved to hold in October-December fall conscription of RA male citizens having turned 18 by the scheduled date, as well as those who forfeited the previously obtained right to reprieve from mandatory military service.

It was also resolved to disband the soldiers having completed their service.

Armenian government was instructed to adopt an appropriate decision securing the fulfillment of the decree within two weeks after it enters into force.
