Signature campaign launched in support of ex-FM Oskanian

PanARMENIAN.Net - Civilitas Foundation has launched online signature campaign to be submitted to the Armenian government.

The initiative is aimed at putting an end to the persecution and “the pressure exerted on former foreign minister Vartan Oskanian and Civilitas Foundation.”

The number of those having joined the campaign currently totals 533, while 10 000 signatures must be collected.

On October 2, Armenian National Assembly resolved to strip Prosperous Armenia member, former Foreign Minister Oskanian of deputy immunity with 64 votes for, 6 against and 1 invalid, following two-day discussions over Civilitas Foundation fund misuse charges.
