Brussels to host Armenia-EU cooperation committee meeting![]() October 8, 2012 - 12:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Brussels will host the 13th meeting of Armenia-EU cooperation committee October 8. The meeting will be chaired by Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan on Armenian side, with Gunnar Wiegand, European External Action Service (EEAS) Director for Russia, Eastern Partnership, Central Asia, Regional Cooperation and OSCE to lead the European side. The course of implementation of the European Neighborhood Policy Action Plan for Armenia as well as talks on the Association Agreement, including Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement, will be in the focus on the meeting. The juridical system, human rights and fundamental freedoms, transport and energy sectors, Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, Armenia-Turkey rapprochement, as well as EU assistance for various programs will also be discussed, economy ministry’s press service reported. Partner news “The above mentioned NGOs’ participation in the forum is only possible as a part of Azerbaijani delegation,” ANP said. The military academy will be named after legendary commanders of Armenian origin Alexander Suvorov and Valerian Mandatov. French Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Jacques Faure said the co-chairs are not planning a visit to Nagorno Karabakh.
