RIM accepting app submissions into BlackBerry App WorldOctober 10, 2012 - 22:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Research In Motion has made it known that consumers shouldn’t expect BlackBerry 10 handsets to hit the market until the start of 2013, IntoMobile reports. An analyst believes the new devices won’t see the light of day until March. As a result, this leaves the Waterloo company a lot of time to build up BB10’s ecosystem. Today, Oct 10, RIM announced it’s accepting app submissions into the BlackBerry App World. Now developers can log into the Vendor Portal and select the BlackBerry 10 Family to show that their app targets the platform version. RIM guaranteed all developers who submit their apps today the chance to get their application reviewed and tested before BB10 launches next year. Developers who dive into this may be eligible for RIM’s 10K Developer Commitment program, which guarantees revenue of at least $10,000 to developers who release popular BlackBerry 10 apps. Any mobile applications submitted in the month of October and November stand to get favorable treatment.
