Free Democrats: common presidential candidate with PAP absurd

PanARMENIAN.Net - With 4 months still left until the presidential elections in Armenia, active political discussions on the issue have already become common.

Free Democrats party’s spokesperson has ruled out nomination of a common presidential candidate with Prosperous Armenia, deeming it absurd.

“We have our own options for the upcoming race,” Angela Khachatryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, adding that the issue will be discussed later.

“One must be ready to face any challenge today. Every step Heritage takes must stem from national interests,” Heritage spokesman Hovsep Khurshudyan said, adding that the party held no discussion on opposition’s nomination of a common presidential candidate.
