Russian minister confident gas agreement will “benefit all”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian gas price upsurge for Armenia was in the focus of the discussion at a subsequent meeting of Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, co-chair of the Russian side, Transport Minister of Russia said.

“The negotiations are underway. I’m confident that the agreements to be reach will benefit both sides,” Maxim Sokolov told a joint press conference with co-chair of the Armenian side, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

It’s noteworthy that it was Sokolov’s first participation in an event of this kind as co-chair of the Russian part of the commission.

Bilateral relations in the fields of economy, culture and military-technical cooperation were further discussed.
