Presidential polls will be fair, yet March 1 events may recur – official

PanARMENIAN.Net - Current political developments in Armenia may bring about the reoccurrence of March 1, 2008 events, head of Constitutional Law Union said.

“The probability depends on the patriotism of political forces that try to get involved in such scenarios,” Haik Babukhanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, voicing confidence for the presidential polls to be legitimate.

“A new political culture has been shaped in the country. I’m confident that the negative factors recorded during the previous elections won’t be observed this time,” he said.
