  Yerevan 2794th anniversary festivities launch in Armenian capital  October 14, 2012 - 17:52 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Erebuni Museum hosted a theatralized event, followed by a march in the framework of the festivities dedicated to 2794th anniversary of Yerevan. A man dressed as King Argishti opened the event with the history of the foundation of the Armenian capital. The Museum-adjacent streets were full of spectators, with youth song and dance ensembles performing in the area. The festive events were attended by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margasyan and other high-ranking officials.
