Armenian President to depart for Bucharest – paper![]() October 16, 2012 - 11:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Today, October 16, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will depart for Bucharest to attend the conference and the summit of European People's Party (EPP), Hraparak daily reported. President Sargsyan will be accompanied by Orinats Yerkir member Mher Shahgeldyan, as the party leader Arthur Baghdasaryan is currently on official visit to Moscow, the paper said. This is the first EPP conference Armenia will be represented as a full member. With EPP leadership elections expected during the event, many have voiced skepticism over the current EPP Vice President and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s possible reelection after the extradition of Azerbaijani assassin Ramil Safarov.
