Armenian-Russian humanitarian center formation deal inked in Moscow![]() October 16, 2012 - 16:47 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan met with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev in Moscow on Tuesday, Oct 16. A one-on-one conversation between the officials was followed by a meeting of the representatives of the Armenian and Russian Security Councils. The parties exchanged views on the situation in CSTO zone of responsibility, as well as regional and international security issues, with a protocol signed on agreements reached. A meeting with Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Vladimir Puchkov was also on Baghdasaryan’s agenda. During the meeting, the parties signed a protocol envisaging formation of a joint humanitarian center in Armenia. Partner news Bako Sahakyan signed a decree to award Ararat Avanesyan and Arthur Gasparyan with “For the Liberation of Shushi” medal. 200 ceasefire violations by the Azeri armed forces were reported at the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan. “There was a great deal of new and interesting research presented during the conference,” said ANC of Illinois activist Greg Bedian.
