Star was named the largest supermarket chain (30 stores), with Yerevan City boasting the highest trade volume. According to MPG, the Armenian representative of Gallup International polling company, 73,4% of Armenian consumers buy products at supermarkets, which proves that oligarch-owned chain stores are putting minor stores out of business.
