Armavia company representative conditioned the suspension of Zvartnots airport’s services to the air company by the airport’s disapproval of the new shareholder. Today, October 17, Yerevan’s Zvartnots airport said it again halted the servicing of Armavia air company flights over the latter’s debts. According to Zvartnots spokesman, Gevorg Abrahamyan, the amount of Armavia’s debt exceeded the sum agreed on for over $1 million, bringing the total debt to $3,360 million. The issue was discussed by Gazprom chief Alexey Miller and Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan.
