In his words, Armenia is ready to regional cooperation with all neighbors. Within the context of Turkey's accession to the EU Artur Baghdasarian noted the importance of implementation of democratic reforms in all countries of the region, recognition of the fact of the Armenian Genocide, the lifting of the blockade of Armenia's border. The parties also discussed the Nagorno Karabakh issue, the solution of which Armenia sees through peaceful talks and mutual compromise exclusively. In his turn, the PACE President noted the importance of the cooperation of the South Caucasian countries, as well as the importance of the meetings of the Speakers of Armenia and Turkey in Strasbourg. The interlocutors appreciated the process of establishment of the stability pact in the region and noted it allowed promoting cooperation between countries of the region.
