French envoy disagrees OSCE MG failed in Karabakh mediation

PanARMENIAN.Net - French ambassador to Azerbaijan doesn’t believe the current mediation format on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement to be a problem.

Pascal Meunier cited prevention of a new military escalation by the format as an important factor worth consideration, news.az reported.

“Madrid Principles, adopted as a basic document, were developed in this very framework. Therefore, it’s incorrect to say that OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts have yielded no progress,” the envoy said, stressing the need for the both parties to base the problem solution on strong will.
