October 23, 2012 - 15:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, National Security Service and Prosecutor General’s Office demanded to see Gyumri municipality’s archives from 2005 to 2011 to investigate how annual subsidies of AMD 1,5 billion were spent. “According to some sources, the funds were misused, a scandal waiting to break out soon. By some accounts, a criminal case will be instigated against Gyumri’s ex-Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan on charges of corruption, with unfavorable outcome predicted,” the paper said.
