Every 5th disabled child in Armenia not sent to school![]() October 23, 2012 - 17:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to official data, 8000 disabled children currently live in Armenia, with every 5th of them not going to school, the Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Armenia said. At news conference in Yerevan, Ms. Henriette Ahrens urged to integrate disabled children into the live of society. As she noted, disabled children must be sent to the same schools and kindergartens as healthy ones. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
