Armenia listed among countries with greatest risk of web infection

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has been listed among the countries having faced the greatest risk of infection over the Internet in the third quarter, according to the survey, published on Kaspersky Lab website.

As Trend reported, the top 10 countries with a score of 61.1 -- 46.1 percent includes: Tajikistan, Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

The company has calculated the number of Web-security use per country within the month to assess the risk of infection through the Internet in different countries worldwide.

There were more than 511 attacks from the Internet resources located in different countries during the third quarter. Total of 165,000 unique modifications of malicious and potentially unwanted software were registered.

Over the past period products "Kaspersky Lab" found and cleared more than 1.3 billion malicious objects detected malware from spreading to more than 91.9 million URL.
