Paper: ex-leader Kocharian won’t need ANC support, expert says![]() October 25, 2012 - 17:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An expert at Armenian Center for Political and International Studies Ruben Mehrabyan was asked by Aravot daily why ex-president Robert Kocharian won’t be needing support of Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc for his political rehabilitation. “First, Robert Kocharian doesn’t need to be politically rehabilitated, as currently, Armenian authorities aren’t being elected legally, which he’s aware of,” Mehrabyan said, quoted by the paper. “Besides, all that’s left of ANC is 1 bureau and 1 parliamentary group, with every member in the bloc having different opinion to the point of being mutually exclusive. So, factually, there’s no political force to expect support from,” Mehrabyan concluded.
