U.S. Armenian lobby getting stronger - expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian lobby in the United States shows tendencies for strengthening, with the process expected to continue till 2015, the head of Regional Studies Center (RSC) believes.

As Richard Giragosian told an October 29 news conference, with none of the U.S. presidential candidates mentioning the Armenian Genocide issue in their electoral campaigns, Armenian lobby has to take more effort to increase Genocide awareness.

According to the expert, on the threshold of Genocide’s 100th anniversary, the issue will be raised in a number of countries to become a real challenge to Turkey.

“U.S. leaders’ failure to mention the Genocide issue speaks louder than words about American morality,” Giragosian concluded.
