Paper: Armenian MP offered Russian CB deputy head’s post

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Aravot daily, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan has been offered the post of the Russian Central Bank first deputy president.

A number of bankers and businessmen promote lobbying activities for Prime Minister Sargsyan in Moscow, with Russian energy company Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller and CIS Finance and Banking Council President Andrey Kostin among them.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev himself made the offer to his Armenian counterpart during a meeting in Yalta, Ukraine, the paper says.
