Google rolls out Samsung Nexus 10 tablet (video) October 30, 2012 - 21:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google has teamed up with Samsung to launch the 10-inch Nexus 10 tablet in the wake of intense speculation, Digital Spy said. With a 10.055-inch screen capable of displaying images in 2560 x 1600 (300ppi), the iPad rival is being touted as "the highest resolution tablet on the planet". The Google Nexus 10 is powered by a dual core A15 Eagle, backed up by an impressive Mali T604 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Other hardware features include dual-side NFC support and front-facing stereo speakers for a rich media viewing experience, as well as nine hours of video playback and more than 500 hours of standby time. The tablet comes with Google's newly announced Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system pre-installed. The refreshed OS introduces multiple user accounts, a revamped camera interface, and quick settings, among other features. Google and Samsung's Nexus 10 will be available in 16GB and 32GB models, priced at £319 and £389 respectively. The device will be available through Google Play on November 13. Google also unveiled the Nexus 4 smartphone and refreshed its Nexus 7 range today.
