Armenia, Iran ready to deepen cooperation![]() October 31, 2012 - 15:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, IRNA reported. President Sargsyan highly assessed the recent 11th meeting of Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission, stressing that such events contribute to deepening of bilateral ties. Iranian President, in turn, noted that Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission meeting reaffirms the friendly ties between the two countries, with Yerevan and Tehran ready to deepen bilateral cooperation. Partner news Members of all parliamentary groups, PM, Energy Minister and the chair of the Public Services Regulatory Commission were invited to participate. Vahan Hovhannisyan voiced hope that the ruling authorities acknowledge the difficulties Armenia currently faces. Prior to the vote, RPA parliamentary group leader Galust Sahakyan announced the party’s decision to vote against the bill.
