The announcement was made during the visit of Chief Executive Officer and President of Intel, Paul Otellini, this week. Otellini stated: "We want to invest wisely and to strengthen the Israeli economy." Part of the investment will be devoted to the Education Ministry's plan to double the number of students who graduate from high school with a high school diploma in technology or science.
