Amazon rolls out 1st mobile game “Air Patriots” (video) November 3, 2012 - 18:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Air Patriots has been announced for iOS and Android devices by Amazon Game Studios, Digital Spy said. The mobile title, available through the App Store and Google Play, marks the online retailer's entry into the mobile gaming development sector. Air Patriots has players defend their territory with a fleet of planes controlled via a touch-screen interface. There are 28 levels to tackle across seven maps, the first three of which are free. "When we created Air Patriots we wanted to make a game that was easy and engaging, and the simplicity of drawing paths for planes was something we thought would appeal to players," said executive producer Ernie Ramirez. "We think customers will find Air Patriots both familiar and fresh, with a degree of challenge that keeps them engaged and enthused to play more." Amazon Game Studios previously developed the Facebook title Living Classics, but is expected to focus on mobile projects going forward.
