Dwayne Johnson will play the mythical strongman in the upcoming action film. Hercules is based on a screenplay by Ryan Condal, adapted from the Radical Studios graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars. Evan Spiliotopoulos has provided revisions to Condal's screenplay, while Beau Flynn, Barry Levine and Ratner will serve as co-producers. Johnson, who was confirmed for the project earlier this year, recently signed up for another graphic novel adaptation in the shape of Barry Sonnenfeld's Lore.
