Samsung to unveil Ultra HD LED world’s largest TVNovember 14, 2012 - 22:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung is planning to unveil the world's largest commercially available Ultra HD LED television at CES 2013, Digital Spy said. The Korean tech giant will showcase an 85-inch set at the trade show, capable of displaying more than eight million pixels. Sony and Toshiba have already announced Ultra HD television hardware, which boasts resolutions four times higher than current 1080p sets. Samsung's upcoming device edges out the 84-inch 4K television released by LG two months ago, but is dwarfed by Panasonic's non-commercial 152-inch Ultra HD plasma. The company's HD TV business set new records in North America last month, shifting more than 1.15 million units in the region. Pricing for the 85-inch Ultra HD LED television is yet to be announced, but it has been tipped to cost around $19,000.
