ARMENIA TO DEEPEN COOPERATION WITH EU WITHIN NEIGHBORHOOD POLICY

PanARMENIAN.Net - "We intend to deepen our cooperation with the EU within the Neighborhood Policy", Armenian President Robert Kocharian stated when addressing the Council of Europe Third Summit in Warsaw today, Mediamax agency reports. "For us it is the possibility to carry on political and economic reforms under the EU aegis. We feel as a part of Europe. Our cultural heritage is a part of European culture. We are carrying out reforms proceeding from domestic needs of our country and not with the purpose to be praised. That is why the efficiency of these reforms is rather high in Armenia", Robert Kocharian noted. He said Armenia will meet all the commitments undertaken at the entry to the CE. "It was a hard but efficient process of reforms urged forward by wide sectors of population", he added.
