"Searching for Sugar Man" wins Amsterdam Documentary Fest award

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Searching for Sugar Man" is continuing to find critical acclaim. Malik Benjelloul's documentary about musician Rodriguez, who abandoned music only to find his career resuscitated after becoming hugely popular in South Africa, won the Best Music Documentary award at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, TheWrap said.

"Sugar Man" also took home the Audience award.

Alan Berliner's documentary "First Cousin Once Removed," about his uncle's struggle with Alzheimer's disease, also scored big, winning for Best Feature-Length Documentary.
