Azerbaijani boxing delegation arriving in Yerevan Nov 26

PanARMENIAN.Net - Relevant agencies will ensure the security of Azerbaijani sportsmen at AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Yerevan, RA Boxing Federation vice-president said.

“Every participant’s safety will be guaranteed, with additional attention to be focused on security measures for Azerbaijani delegation. Azeri boxers participated in Yerevan-hosted European judo championships 2009, with no security problems recorded then,” Derenik Gabrielyan said, adding that Azerbaijani boxers are arriving in Yerevan today, Nov 26.

The championships will kick off Nov 29 to run through December 7 in Yerevan’s Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex, with the opening ceremony scheduled for November 28, 6 pm.
