Armenian PM confident over outcome of gas talks with Russia![]() November 26, 2012 - 15:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Russia have always managed to come to an agreement over gas supply tariffs, Armenian Prime Minister said, commenting on reports suggesting the strategic partners’ inability to agree over gas price. According to earlier reports, Russia suggested hiking gas price to Armenia to $330 per 1000 cubic meters. “We have already agreed on basic principles, with only technical details left to be finalized,” Tigran Sargsyan told Interfax. As the Prime Minister noted, it would be incorrect to publicize clauses of the agreement taken out of context while negotiations are still in progress. “The situation will become clear upon completion of talks,” he noted. Partner news “It’s a pity that instead of operating flights, airplanes with Armenian flags stand idle under the sun,” Ghazaryan said. The issue was discussed by Gazprom chief Alexey Miller and Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan. On Feb 23, 2012, Yerevan Jur CJSC issued application for decreasing water prices from current AMD 174,059 to AMD 166,044 per cubic meter.
