"Zero Dark Thirty" Bin Laden hunt drama prequel teased

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Zero Dark Thirty filmmakers have said that a prequel film is a possibility, Digital Spy said.

Director Kathryn Bigelow and writer/producer Mark Boal have said that they could one day return to the original concept for the film.

"I think so. Why not?" Boal told Entertainment Weekly when asked about the likelihood of a second movie.

"But I think the last thing [either of us] wants to do right now is talk about making another movie."

Bigelow added that she would "possibly" be interested in the project.

Zero Dark Thirty was originally planned as a "more conventional action film" about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. They scrambled to make changes to the project after the terrorist was killed on May 2, 2011.

Jessica Chastain stars as a CIA operative alongside a cast featuring Jason Clarke, Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Ehle, Mark Strong, Kyle Chandler and Edgar Ramirez.

Zero Dark Thirty will be released on January 11, 2013 in the US, and January 25, 2013 in the UK.
