Armenian govt. in talks over pension funds management![]() November 29, 2012 - 16:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian government is in talks with a number of leading international companies over management of private pension funds, deputy minister of finance said. As Vardan Aramyan told a press conference, Global Asset Management has already showed interest in Armenian capital market. He voiced confidence for the first private pension funds to be established in Armenia in 2013, with Capital Asset Management investment company having voiced readiness to contribute to it. Armenia will shift to mandatory funded pension system starting 2014. Partner news “The increase for energy tariffs is prompted by a price hike for gas used in production,” Garegin Baghramyan said. Earlier, ArmRosgazprom CJSC addressed Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission with an offer to reconsider natural gas prices. Finance Minister linked the step with the collection of air taxes. He further noted that lawsuits were filed by other lenders, too. Tigran Sargsyan noted that the new plant will be constructed after the current one is finally out of operation. Partner news |
