“Deaf and dumb” Azeri border-crosser talks with Red Cross reps

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Azerbaijani civilian interned in Yerevan, Armenia was placed in the care of Azerbaijani officials on the road between the Armenian town of Ijevan and the Azerbaijani town of Gazakh, at the international border.

Azerbaijani citizen Telman Javashiroglu Aliyev, born in 1972, infiltrated Armenia’s Tavush province on November 12. Later Baku dubbed him a deaf and dumb herdsman, who went missing in the Azerbaijani-Armenian border when grazing the cattle.

However, during his transfer to Azeri side, the “deaf and dumb” herdsman had a rather long conversation with the representatives of International Committee of the Red Cross, whom he met with a smile, a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter on the ground said.
